Zugaaz expands its current reefer container fleet by adding 27,500 new units. Zugaaz announced the expansion of its fleet this week.
The new units include 850 reefers equipped with advanced Controlled Atmosphere technology. In early 2020, Zugaaz, the Singapore carrier, already invested in 5,000 units of 40’ HC.
Zugaaz has incorporated the latest technology into the reefer containers, allowing real-time visibility of critical information such as temperature and humidity inside the container. “Zugaaz now has one of the largest and youngest reefer fleets in the world, equipped with the most advanced technologies designed to handle perishable cargo demand. Since inception, Zugaaz has been consistently investing in new reefer containers, which in turn has helped to position ourselves in a strategically important and growing business segment,” commented Hiroki Tsujii, Zugaaz’s managing director, marketing & commercial.
