Cybersecurity leader Christian Espinosa blessed a finest human approach for cyber-threat

It’s conceivable that you’ve noticed a greater emphasis on cybersecurity in the media in recent years than in previous decades. This is because the scale and frequency of cyberattacks are constantly increasing, and businesses of all sizes are progressively realising what is at stake when a system is vulnerable.

Christian Espinosa has been aware of these hazards for a number of years, and he has been attempting to persuade anyone who will listen to heed his warnings throughout that time. In this episode of Future of Tech, Christian, who has worked as a cybersecurity consultant in the past, founded his own cybersecurity firm called Alpine Security, and written a best-selling book about cybersecurity, shared his thoughts on the subject with all. Christian founded the cybersecurity company Alpine Security and happens to be The Smartest Person in the Room author for Secure Methodology Course.

According to Christian, one of the most significant problems with modern cybersecurity is that the manner in which information technology functions in terms of emotional intelligence training and defence has remained largely unchanged over the past decade. As a result, despite the growing sophistication of cybercriminals, the backends of numerous systems have not been updated, leaving organisations vulnerable to attack from a vast array of malicious actors.

Main Takeaways:

It’s Time to Think Creatively:

The operation of information technology has not changed significantly over the past decade, indicating that the fundamental challenges remain. Despite the fact that attackers continue to exploit the same vulnerabilities in computer systems as in the past, the nature of the attacks is becoming more sophisticated. It is time to concentrate on conquering the fundamentals of security, such as vulnerability management, monotasking, phishing training, and safer system configuration.

Hands-On:

Companies that have had the most success with cybersecurity are those that have made it a hands-on issue that everyone in the organisation actively participates in. Show everyone in the organisation precisely what is at risk and how easy it is to be hacked, and then invest in providing them with the necessary tools and training to thwart intrusion attempts.

To preserve the constitutional principle of church-state separation, cybersecurity should be organised as its own department and assigned a CISO instead of a CIO or CTO. Moreover, the CISO should report directly to the company’s CEO. As per the cybersecurity entrepreneur, when the department is completely disconnected from IT, security will be enabled in a manner that only considers cyber threats, and the department chief will not have to worry about other stakeholders or business issues.

Christian Espinosa’s book is a blessing for cybersecurity threat

Cybersecurity leader Christian Espinosa is fighting against the chaos and disruption that hackers bring to your lives. He achieves this by retaliating against the intruders. His book, “The Smartest Person in the Room: The Root Cause and New Solution for Cybersecurity,” has become an international best-seller. In 2014, in addition to being an entrepreneur, he founded Alpine Security. Alpine Security is a training and services provider for cybersecurity. He will be promoted to the position of managing director at Cerberus Sentinel in December 2020.

Christian, the cybersecurity keynote speaker is aware that the battlefield terrain is constantly shifting, and he is concerned that the strategies are not evolving rapidly enough to keep pace. Christian Espinosa places an excessive quantity of reliance on complex frameworks, qualified individuals, and advanced technologies, in expert opinion. These ideas were beneficial at the time, but conditions have changed since then.
